About...

Daddy's role no longer confines to just the one who bring home the dough, it is time daddy get their hand dirty and start participating in the house chores and bond with the family.  The best thing to do is get into the kitchen and starts preparing a meal for the family and see the smiles on the faces of your kids with your meal and let them shout "Daddy Is Cooking !!!!".

Ok, this blog is to provide some ideas to Daddy of how to cook a decent family meal, not those very delicious meals whereby you eat in the restaurants but just a simple and decent dishes in which even those Daddy yet to cook a meal in their lifetime could do it.

Am a father of 2 daughters and currently in charge of the daily meals of my family.  I consider myself as semi-retired at the moment as my work allow me to work from home and at the same time look after my kids.  Frankly speaking, I only started cooking in 1997 when I taking a post graduated degree in UK.  Prior to that, every cooking was done by my mum and I just simply "in charge of eating".  When I'm alone in UK looking after myself, I have no choice but to start to cook.  Nobody taught me how to cook and I picked it up myself from the memories of those dishes my mum prepared.  The look and those taste from my mum's dishes just made my brain working hard to figure out how to produce the same.  Due to that, and with various practices and maybe coupling with some passion in cooking, there I go, knew how to cook since 1997.

Just want all the Daddy get your hands dirty in the kitchen and heard your kids shout "Daddy Is Cooking !!!!"

One thing I must stress, my cooking is still miles away from restaurant standard but comparable to what housewives and mummies' standard.
